Description
wow! I am certainly glad I have a test kit. so these beans looked very promising, but my test tells me otherwise.

There was no reaction to the Mecke, but there was an immediate flash of Orange for the Marquis test. The Simons lagged for a few seconds, then turned blue... like mdxx or cathinones should. (picture left to right: mecke, marquis, Simons)

*EDIT* NO POKEBALL ON THE BACK. These looked exactly like the sharks in SoCal, appeared to be just as thick as well, but lacked the pokeball in the back.

We can rule out Mdxx, but why did the Simons react? if there were cathinones in this tab, shouldn't it have reacted with the Mecke as well? Perhaps its some cathinone that does not react with Mecke, Idk. Garbage tab either way!!

this is a brand new kit by the way.

Anywho, stay safe guize!!

Maybe it is. it was just trippy to see what I thought was reaction.

There's a batch in socal, same press, but no pokeball in the back...

The marquis test indicates an amphetamine, the mecke rules out any MDxx, and the simons confirms methamphetamine, a secondary amine.

.....so these DO contain methamphetamine, but could still have non-reactive chemicals present also, like bzp, mcpp, caffeine, etc. sounds like a methbomb w/ the possibility of other stimulants. a flusher for sure :( ewwww

^better than not posting at all. Its tough to edit a photo to satisfy PRs demands (at least to the digitally challenged like me) so sometimes shrinking is the best option.

I would like to see a close up so we can compare these non poke sharks with the poke sharks. Not that it truly makes a difference. Both are garbage

It probably looks exactly like the other shark posted 2 days ago. one thing to note that this left out was that this should probably have a pokeball score on the back.

^^OP indicates in the first comment (see above) that these dont have the poke score in the back.... actually its oddly worded but thats how i interpeted it

If it's meth, I would put some serious cash down that this thing is a Blue Dolphin.

Every Blue Dolphin I've seen in these areas has been meth, but Washington is the meth capitol of the US lol

Hey all! I edited the report to include that there was no pokeball in the back. As for my comment bringing up the lack of pokeball across the back, please excuse my poor syntax.

Sorry for the lagged reply, but it's the middle of midterm season, and so some of you probably know how that goes.

I actually did not know that methamphetamines would react with the Simons test...I've only ever been lucky enough to come across clean tabs/mandy.

The pic is small, and the press a bit hard to see, but I compared these to the picture of the SoCal report and the press is identical. These just appeared to be lighter shade of blue. Sending them to e-data would've been ideal...but in a fit of anger i flushed these and cursed the presser as they disappeared down the crap-chute.

I may be able to get another one from a friend who also had some of these. After testing these i quickly alerted them, and they did not consume. What they did with them after getting the alert, I do not know.

In the case that I get my hands on another one, I'll report a link with the up-close shot and will try sending one off for a little GCMS loving

That would be awesome if you got one to edata! shweet. and the simons reagents' purpose is to discern between primary amines, like amphetamine sulfate and MDA, and the secondary amines, such as MDMA and methamphetamine. you really need a marquis/mecke/mandelin AND a simons to get any definitive result. anyways, good job on flushing them instead of reselling and/or passing them off as free ecstasy to impressionable female undergrads :D
