January 7, 2012, 1:26 am GMTis this another one of those recent canadian meth/amphetamine pills with the amazingly detailed & intricate presses? sorry for your unfortunate find but from a visual standpoint those are some of the most interesting pills to look at!
what i don't understand is if there are so many tweakers & crankheads in quebec/montreal/etc, why is amp/methamp so common in pill-form: is there no crystal or powder up there? like many others, my guess would be that oral consumption is much less desirable in comparison to other routes of administration for a speedfreak.. so why the large production of pills? to make these chemicals more "acceptable"?? because penalties for possession are much more lax??
help me out here canada!

This is how I see it, when someone here's the name speed they lean more to amphetamines opposed to the deadly crystal meth, it's almost like all the tweakers are oblivious to what there actually inhaling is indeed the same thing. (for the most part) Another reason being that the pressers here know very well of the huge rave scene here in Montreal which are focused around mainly teens, so they know people want to be up all night and feeling good so they sniff a line of speed instead of pure meth! I personally think the whole speed and crystal meth thing haven't really been distinguished yet most people would say speed is speed not meth. All in all speed is wack and these pressers are making millions on these little kids who see a cool looking pill and assume its good. Just my opinion, sorry I'm French I know my English sucks guys!

The majority of people sell speed as speed just like this one is, I just put it up so new people, young people and anyone who is unaware of the speed scene in Montreal can realize any big white pill here is speed, pretty much every white pill is, as well as if these ever leave montreal!

again, i just find it difficult to believe that amphetamine is so huge up there. personally, i'm not a fan; would much rather consume mdxx and i am certain a good percentage of people would agree with me, but the demand for speed must be much higher than anyone would have guessed. perhaps these are being produced with the notion that they are to be taken in combination with mdxx?? or maybe, though highly unlikely, these pills are capable of being smoked or intravenously injected, similar to the "yaba" pills of thailand. regardless of their producers' intentions, i find it interesting that these such well-pressed pills are so popular. if they were not, the producers wouldn't be pressing them in record numbers, with several different logos. i just cant get past the fact that if there are indeed that many amp-addicts/junkies in canada, that they'd prefer pills to crystal, powder, etc. but as you say, just like cocaine addicts may despise crack, even though it is practically the same (route of administration aside), amphetamine, or "speed" addicts may see meth as something very different??
January 8, 2012, 5:04 pm GMTi suppose if i liked amp/methamp that much, i'd try to abstain from the pipe and/or needle for as long as possible. but just like insufflating heroin users become IV users and powder sniffing cocaine users become crackheads, you would expect there to also be a demand for a higher-power amp/methamp substances in montreal. this of course, brings me back to my original question.
getting WAY off topic here. curiousity killed the cat type thing. thanks for your input/response!!

January 11, 2012, 3:29 am GMTI wanted to add my 2 cent... why so little crystal meth in montreal ? (yes it is present) Because of the market for crack. Street gang owns houses, prostitution etc... ''Nobody'' (yet) can go against all the system: cocaine import, marijuana export, bikers, Italian family, to just ''dump'' meth in the street market. So it still very ''underground''. Since people going to raves takes pills and would typically avoid smoking with glass pipe (just doesn't look and like ''PLUR''), there is no market (yet) for Christal meth.
(But, yeah! Quebecer's love amphetamines just like the rest of the world so we have pills.)
