starting with a quarter is only like 50mg, barely an active dose for recreation. I know this is a harm reduction site and I'm am part of the volunteer staff, but seriously take a half to roll people sheesh

@facedbeyond mdma threshold is only 30mg, so yes, 50mg is a small dose, but still it is a good advise for smaller people dropping for the first time. Better to start too low than too high, as you can always take more, but you cant take it out once its too much. As a moderator, you should know that, and give advise like that..

I am going to agree with 'checkit' here.. I've seen many people take half of this press and start to dry heave/puke for a good half hour.. Experienced/ larger people **should** be alright on a half.. But I agree with 'checkit' you should definitely start with a quarter of this.. You can always redose but you can never stop it after its too late.. Be careful and roll safe!

These are not 230-260 mg. Boys in Europe did a gas chromatography on them and they are definitely at 200mgs.

Erowid mentions that an usual dose of MDMA doses ranges from 80mg to 160mg. This gives us an average dose of 120mg. It also mentions that an ordinary dose is 2mg/kg which makes it easier to calculate it according to personal body weight.
May 4, 2015, 12:05 pm GMTBeing a casual ecstasy user (pills & MDMA crystal) for over twenty years I know that in the old days an average dose was considered 125mg which matches Erowid’s figures.
Now it all depends on the user. If he (or she) is a novice or not, his (or her) body constitution, sensitivity to the product (MDMA) according to previous experiences, etc...
Let's take Etekz’s quarter and Hagrid’s half and split the difference which could result almost as a third of a pill. Even if the pill is extra strong, lets say it contained 270mg (which is rarely the case) a third would contain a maximum 90mg of MDMA which under normal conditions is not going to send anybody to hospital I guess. After taking the first third he (or she) should wait for 90 minutes then decide if there is any need for more. If this is the case he (or she) should know by then how the pill should be taken (either by half, quarter or whatever proportion). That should keep people safe.
I just want to add that dosing is personal and specific to each person so I don't think there's any point arguing about figures on this forum. Stay happy!

A relly good pill. The Strenght varies from 200-268 mg. Beginners should take only a half. Especially if you are a small person. The right dose for you can be measure by multiplying 2mg with your body weight, or you can just take more as I do.
